Our dedicated reconstruction experts have provided subcontracting for some of Australia’s largest insurance building companies. CYCLONE DEBBIE
After Cyclone Debbie hit in 2017, RBC rapidly came to the aid of local communities. We undertook extensive rebuilds and clean-up services in Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach, both of which were badly ravaged by the disaster. The great relationships and experience we gained during our post-cyclone work proved invaluable in subsequent disaster relief projects.

TOWNSVILLE FLOOD
In the aftermath of the 2019 Townsville floods, we aided in the clean-up and reconstruction of around 110 residential and commercial properties. Some of these projects are ongoing, due to the extent of the damage caused. From cleaning out water, to laying new walls and flooring, we were able to help impacted families and businesses recover.
NSW BUSHFIRE
Recently, our team at Richardson Building Contractors worked closely with the volunteers at BlazeAid to help locals affected by the devastating NSW bushfires. In addition to cleans, we undertook boundary fencing work and asbestos removal, working closely with Lang O’Rourke.
South Queensland Storm Damage
In 2020 North Queensland was hit by especially destructive storms with high winds. Richardson Building Contractors were on site to offer our expert advice and assist with re-roofing and repair of storm damage across Rockhampton. When the unexpected happens, Richardson Building Contractors are there to make sure repairs are carried out safely and effectively, and to build enduring structures to survive all that the Queensland weather can throw at them.
